Global Cultural Diversity Festival & International Pavilion
Hosted annually by the Division of Student Life and the International Student Office, the Global Cultural Diversity Festival is a vibrant, week-long celebration that highlights the rich multicultural tapestry of the university campus. Designed to promote cross-cultural understanding, inclusivity, and global citizenship, the festival transforms the central campus plaza into a dynamic world marketplace featuring international students, local performers, and diplomatic representatives.
The core highlight of the festival is the International Pavilion Street, where student organizations erect interactive cultural booths representing over fifty countries. Visitors can sample traditional culinary dishes, view heritage artifacts, participate in language workshops, and engage in traditional craft demonstrations. Evening activities feature a high-energy Global Arts Showcase in the open-air amphitheater, presenting traditional dance routines, musical ensembles, theatrical acts, and a national costume fashion show. Through collaborative performances, artistic expression, and shared experiences, the festival fosters a harmonious campus atmosphere and strengthens the university’s commitment to building an inclusive international community.
